Wow, is it September already? What a journey the last 5.5 months has been. I've learned so much about myself, our family, and how I want to live. It was 1995. She was 18 and had just graduated from high school. She was thrilled when she received the call that she had gotten the job as a camp counselor for the Boys and Girls Club. She along with a diverse team of college-aged students were charged with taking elementary-aged kids on 3-day overnight camping trips during the week.
