Celebrate the Breath of Spring

Happy Spring! I love this season because I see new life forming right before my eyes! The buds on the trees are beginning to bloom and the green pastures go on for miles. Creation is right outside of us and within us.

I encourage you to take a moment today to step outside, close your eyes, take a deep breath, hold it inside and then exhale. Witness the sensations within you. Visualize the rejuvenation of your cells, the space created within the body and the clarity in your mind.

The power of our life force moves us beyond time and space. We often forget that our prana is waiting to be freed and the practice of pranayama (breath exercise) is the key to unlock our unlimited potential. Our breath is the entryway into both the conscious and unconscious mind, it is a tool for both deep release, healing and renewal.

I invite you to celebrate the beauty and bounty of your own breath. It is as magnificent as the sights and sounds of Spring.

Love,

Jen

The majority of the children were African American.

Perspective & Clarity for the New Decade

A New Cycle

A New Cycle

And what am I dreaming up for this new 7-year cycle?  I am not sure.  But what I do have is a deep unwavering knowing that today is perfect in all it's imperfection and tomorrow brings hope and continued possibility.  And I feel so very alive as I sit on the throne of our life ready to bear witness and be completely present to all that is offered during this next phase.

We are all Walking each Other Home

We are all Walking each Other Home

I really believe we are all here to master relationships.  And that mastery requires you to be in relation to others, but first, you must start with the relationship with your soul. As you really befriend yourself and underSTAND (take a stand for yourself) you begin to know what type of relations your soul is calling for.   Some relationships may shower you with pain, while others provide you an outpouring of love.  You realize that in the end, it was never really about the other person, rather the imprisonment you felt, the frustration you had to work through or the heart opening expansion you experienced was really just about you being on your own path to freedom.
